Controversial radio DJ Sbu Leope has landed himself in hot water again, this time with Kaizer Chiefs. The Sunday World on Monday reported the soccer club had filed a lawsuit against Leope after he used their name and the names of three senior players to promote his Mofaya energy drink.
According to the report, Leope tricked Chiefs defenders Morgan Gould, Tsepo Masilela and Siboniso Gaxa into posing for a picture with him wearing club merchandise and Mofaya t-shirts.
Leope then apparently announced the players were using Mofaya to energise them.

The Sunday World reported the stunt angered marketing manager Jessica Motaung, who called the trio into a disciplinary hearing and fined them an undisclosed amount.
The club’s PR Manager Vina Maphosa and Leope both declined to comment further on the matter.
