Inspired by the traditional “Shodo” calligraphy, the silhouette of the globe on the top is shaped by distinctive features, providing a vibrant element that aims to reflect the sun and the well-known Japanese hospitality and solidarity.
Ticket sales
The Visa Pre-Sale for the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2015 will begin on FIFA.com at 12:00 (Japanese time) on Saturday 29 August. The Visa Pre-Sale period is exclusive to Visa cardholders and available online only.
The exclusive Visa Pre-Sale will run until 23:59 (Japanese time) on Sunday 6 September and general Ticket Sales will also follow from 13 September. The 12th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled to be played from 10 to 20 December 2015, will take place in the Japanese cities of Yokohama and Osaka.
The competition will feature Auckland City of New Zealand (OFC Champions League winners), Club America of Mexico (CONCACAF Champions League winners), Barcelona of Spain (UEFA Champions League winners), River Plate of Argentina (Copa Libertadores winners), the winners from this year’s AFC Champions League and CAF Champions League as well as a club from Japan’s J.League representing the host nation.
The AFC Champions League and CAF Champions League winners are to be decided in November, and the J.League winner will be decided by 5 December.
