The Ivory Coast football Federation on Tuesday announced Michel Dussuyer as their new Coach ahead of their September 5th African Cup of Nations clash against Sierra Leone.
The 56-year-old-Frenchman who has previously worked as national coach of the Syli Nationale of Guinea in two separate spells signed a two-year deal with the African Champions.
According to the Ivorian federation, the two years deal goes with an option for another two years extension.
The 56-year-old Dussuyer was Ivory Coast;s assistant coach under Henri Michel when they lost in the final of the 2006 Nations Cup to hosts Egypt on post-match penalties.
His first assignment with the Ivorians will be against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in the African Nations Cup qualifier in Sierra Leone on Sept 5th.
