The new partnership, which will commence on January 1, 2016 and end December 31, 2020, will involve ASICS supplying the tops for the athletes, and uniforms for the court personnel and officials in beach volleyball and uniforms for the referees and officials in volleyball.
The FIVB is constantly looking for new ways to modernise the sport of volleyball to ensure it stays at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and ASICS will also be creating a new line of uniform which will help the FIVB strengthen its position as one of the world’s most innovative and dynamic sports.
“It gives me great pleasure to welcome ASICS to the global volleyball family as we look ahead to an exciting new partnership over the next five years.
“Together we can help enhance volleyball’s reputation and popularity around the world as we aim to realise our vision of becoming the number one family sport entertainment.”
