Algiers, Algeria, December 4, 2015 - Dr. Amr Elwani was re-elected President of the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) for the next four years after the elections during the 2015 Elective Congress in Algiers, Algeria on Friday.
The Congress saw 100 per cent of the affiliated national federations in attendance for the first time in the history of the event, with 53 national federations participating in the vote. Dr. Elwani was granted 33 votes against 10 votes for Idriss Dokony from Chad and eight for David Kabre from Burkina Faso, with two invalid votes.
