Sierra Leonean defender, David Simbo made his official debut for his new club Najran FC in the opening match of the Saudi Arabia Pro League.
The former Al Hilal and Sandvikens IF defender was introduced in the 70th minute replacing Madash in Najran FC 1-2 home defeat on Friday at the hands of Sullay Muntari’s Al Ittihad.

It was a disappointing start for the Sierra Leone defender and his Najran FC but the 25-year-old who can also play the midfield believes they can bounce back strongly in their next tie against Al Wahda.
Meanwhile, in Sweden, Sierra Leone striker Alhaji Kamara continued his scoring form this time on Thursday night helping secured a 5-0 win over Acropolis in the Swedish Cup saving IFK Norrkoping in their derby clash on Monday.
The striker seems to have found fluency in front of the goal after returning from Malaysia. On Thursday he scored two of the goals in the win which was his third in two matches. IFK Norrkoping’s win now moves them closer to the Swedish Cup's group stage.
