The two nations will meet in the 21st Edition of the Nelson Mandela Challenge at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday, 8 September.
Kickoff is at 19h00.
This is an annual event where football and the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund come together to raise funds for the less privileged children.
Bafana Bafana defeated Cote d’Ivoire 2-0 in 2014 to lift the trophy.
The first Nelson Mandela Challenge match took place back in May of 1994 when South Africa beat Zambia 2-1 at Ellis Park.
As part of the agreement with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, starting this year the SAFA U13 and U15 Boys and Girls tournaments bear the name of Madiba – those events are sponsored by 2010 FIFA World Cup Legacy Trust.
