Leone Stars will start their World Cup journey with an initial stop in Chad in a two-legged tie which will commence on the weekend of October 5th -13th 2015.
According to Sesay it’s a difficult pairing because at the present stage of African football there are no minnows.
However, the experienced football analyst is hopeful the Leone Stars can advance as highly predicted by bookmakers.
“Yes we can qualify as predicted by the bookmakers if we can put our house in order before kick-off, but if we are to continue with this current trend, we will find it very difficult to undo the central Africans outsiders,” Sesay said.
Meanwhile, Sierra Leone will have a chance to face former Africa football power-house, Egypt in another two legged contest in the second round of the qualifiers if they do get past Chad.
