The young Fennecs of Algeria will host their Sierra Leonean opponent on July 19 at Mustapha Tchaker stadium in Blida before the second leg tie which is scheduled for 31 July, 1st-2 August 2015.
With the return leg tie venue yet to be confirmed by the SLFA authorities, the FAF said they are still waiting for SLFA response to get themselves much prepared.
In reaction the SLFA media officer, Abu Bakar Kamara did confirm that they are working on getting the venue for the return leg with neighbouring Liberia as their preferred destination.
He said: “We are still working on it and have done all the official formalities as we want to play the match in Liberia. We are only waiting on the response from Liberia so Algeria need not worry because we still have time to notify them.”
The forthcoming match will mark the young Fennecs first game in the qualifiers due to a bye- which qualify them from playing the two previous rounds, while Sierra Leone sprung a surprise in the second round qualifiers by eliminating Cameroon.
