400 meters Hurdler and recent Masters Graduate Aisha Naibe-wey of the University of Virginia came close to achieving the Rio Olympic Standards in the 400 meters Hurdles when she ran a season personal best on Saturday June 11th 2016 at the University of Virginia Track with a time of 57.01 seconds.
The Rio standards are 56.20 seconds and she will have a chance at making the qualification to Rio when she competes again at the African Athletics Championships in Durban South Africa for Sierra Leone in a week and a half from now.
