Algiers, Algeria, December 4, 2015 - FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° received the overwhelming support of the entire African volleyball family who were united in their endorsement of his presidency and pioneering vision as the CAVB Congress concluded in Algeria on Friday.
President Graça arrived in the Algerian capital of Algiers on Tuesday where he was warmly welcomed by CAVB President Dr. Amr Elwani and was honoured by the Algerian National Olympic Committee President Mr Mustapha Berraf, who presented President Graça with the Olympic Committee order.
President Graça recapped the 9 Goals strategic plan - which he officially launched at the FIVB World Tour Finals in Fort Lauderdale - and outlined his vision for the future of the sport in Africa as it looks to become the number one family sport entertainment in the world.
This was well received by the African member federations who were united in their support for President Graça to stand for re-election next year and to continue to guide African volleyball towards a successful and innovative future.
