Inter Milan have officially completed the permanent signing of Djed Spence from Tottenham Hotspur, moving one of the week’s most closely watched transfers from agreement stage to fully confirmed business. Inter announced that the England international has signed a contract running through June 30, 2031, while Reuters and Sky Sports place the fee at approximately £30 million. Tottenham also secured a reported 10% sell-on clause as part of the transaction.
The move gives Inter a long-term solution on the right flank following Denzel Dumfries’ departure and returns Spence to Serie A after his previous loan spell with Genoa. There is also a diaspora dimension to the move: Inter’s official profile notes that Spence was born in London to Jamaican parents, adding another player of African-Caribbean heritage to one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
