ASVG Media’s forthcoming Road to Pamoja 2027 editorial series begins by following the qualifying journey toward East Africa’s historic tournament in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Groups D–F open between September 24 and October 1, with Pitso Mosimane beginning his third spell as South Africa coach against Guinea and Serhou Guirassy, while Burkina Faso meet neighboring Benin in a major West African contest. Kenya are already qualified as co-hosts, meaning only the highest-placed team other than the Harambee Stars will advance from Group D—placing immediate pressure on South Africa and Guinea. Groups E and F will each send their top two teams to the finals after six matches.

GROUP E: September 24 — DR Congo vs Equatorial Guinea, 16:00 GMT; Sierra Leone vs Zimbabwe, 19:00 GMT. September 28 — Equatorial Guinea vs Sierra Leone, 16:00 GMT; Zimbabwe vs DR Congo, 16:00 GMT. GROUP F: September 24 — Mauritania vs Central African Republic, 16:00 GMT. September 25 — Burkina Faso vs Benin, 19:00 GMT. September 28 — Central African Republic vs Burkina Faso, 16:00 GMT. September 29 — Benin vs Mauritania, 19:00 GMT.
