Zambia coach Albert Kachinga observes that though his side might seem to be strong side on the paper, he is not going to take any chances by underestimating the capability of his opponents.
The Shepolopolo mentor points out that for the Mighty Warriors to come this far they did not merely walk in but they booted out Namibia’s Brave Gladiators.
Likewise his side, Zambia he says shot down Tanzania’s Taifa Queens adding that he knows that the Zimbabweans will come fully prepared with full force to get the result.
“We have a better side but we are not going to underrate Zimbabwe. We knocked out Namibia and they knocked out Tanzania.
“We are leaving no stone unturned because Zimbabwe are also preparing as hard as we are. We expect them to give us a good run,” Kachinga explains.
Nonetheless, though Zimbabwe or Mighty Warriors side is similarly also taking the similar line of thought, assistant coach Sithethelewe Sibanda declares that his side is prepared to win the game.
But Sibanda is of the view that though his side will be focusing its sights on getting the positive result at all cost he acknowledges that it will not be a mere stroll in the park.
“We are really prepared for it and we want to come out with a good result at Rufaro Stadium. But I must admit it’s a very tough game.
For Zambia to get to the last qualifying round they beat Namibia which means they are a good side,” says Sibanda.
The two sides will meet again in the second leg clash at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka on Sunday.
