Sierra Leone international midfielder Julius Woobay fired his side Neftci PFK to the semi-finals of the Azerbaijan Cup after a 1-0 win over AZAL in the quarterfinal on Friday.
Woobay scored the only goal of the day in the 19th minute of play to give Neftci PFK a 1-0 aggregate win over AZAL after both sides played to a goalless draw in the first leg. Woobay’s, 30, goal came from the free kick at the 3,500 AZAL Arena.
