
Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Leone Cricket Association (SLCA), Francis Trevor Samura says the national men’s cricket team are all set and prepared for the upcoming ICC T20 Division 2 Tournament in South Africa.
Speaking to African Sport TV, Samura said, “The team have been practicing daily and I am confident we are ready for the tournament. The players are in good spirit and well-motivated for the competition.”
Sierra Leone will have to face Rwanda and Mozambique in the upcoming tournament and the winner will advance to the African first division.
In related development, additional 4 player’s will later join the squad from South African on April 25th for the first male North West Africa Cricket Council T20 tournament in Abuja, Nigeria.
