Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has urged his teammate to work harder if they want to qualify from the Afcon Group C which is dubbed; the ‘Group of Death’.
The Black Stars suffered a last minute 2-1 loss to West African rivals, Senegal at the Estadio de Mongomo which now leaves them with much pressure to win their remaining two matches if they are to have any chance of reaching the tournaments last eight.
With Algeria having already defeated South Africa, Ghana will have to secure something from their next match against Algeria whilst South Africa will be looking to bounce back from their defeat when they face Senegal.
However, Wakaso admitted that it will be a difficult task for them but said the team must work hard to remain in the competition.

“Algeria are a really good team and we need to work hard in order to get all six points from the next two games,” Wakaso added.
