
Five Somali high schools will initially benefit from the project, which will last for one year, according to the secretary general of Somali Volleyball Federation Mr. Mohamed Abubakar Hirei.
In his opening remarks during the lunching ceremony of this project, Mr. Hirei said the project will contain learning programs as well as practical sessions to allow participants gain enough understanding about volleyball.
The project’s goals include helping the students to discover their volleyball talents and be an opportunity for the country’s national volleyball team to maintain talented future players who will lead their nation to assure participations in the regional and international volleyball events.
