After Tagoe’s last Saturday’s win over Fernando David Saucedo, the former’s camp threw a challenge at Dogboe and the latter’s camp has accepted to fight.
“My son his ready to face this crazy boxer [Emmanuel Tagoe], Isaac will knock him out in round 5,” Paul told Ghanacrusader.com.
“It should be a winner take all, Tagoe’s camp said they will offer $200,000 as purse, so we are ready to sign the contract, they have to make sure that the GBA sanctions the fight.”
“The agreed weight is 130 pounds that is super featherweight, so they should make the contract ready, after our fight against Jessie Magdaleno in April we are coming for him in July.”
Dogboe currently holds the interim WBO World super bantamweight belt while Tagoe holds the IBO lightweight belt.
Paul Dogboe was honoured by the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) as best coach last year, when Tagoe was also declared as Boxer of the Year with Isaac Dogbe picking a special award.
For the 2017 SWAG Awards nominations, Isaac Dogboe is contending for the Best Boxer Award with US based WBC Gold Bantamweight Champion, Duke Micah.
