The LA Galaxy will look to be the second team to clinch a playoff berth after the Western Conference leading Seattle Sounders claimed a spot this past weekend. The Galaxy will welcome FC Dallas to Carson, CA on Saturday night at 10:30 p.m. ET. FC Dallas will be seeking revenge (and three points) after they were beaten 2-1 by the Galaxy back in May. Dallas are coming off a win over the Vancouver Whitecaps FC thanks to two goals from Panamanian international and MLS Player of the Week, Blas Perez. The Galaxy are riding a seven-game unbeaten streak and look to be getting hot at the right time of the season.

Cascadia Cup and MLS playoff push become one on Saturday as the Portland Timbers host Vancouver Whitecaps FC at 5:00 p.m. ET (NBCSN, TSN, RDS2). The Whitecaps sit a point above the Timbers in the regular season standings and will be looking to get payback for their last meeting when the Timbers beat the Whitecaps, 3-0 at BC Place last month. Portland will first have to contend with a midweek CONCACAF Champions League match before setting sights on Vancouver.
