Former Leone Stars international Lamin Bangura has been appointed as Head coach of Guinean club, Santoba FC for the rest of the season.
The former Central Parade and Diamond Stars coach’s appointment comes after a poor run under former manager Mustapha Sy that left the club fighting from the bottom.

Lamin Bangura who helped Sierra Leone’s diamond rich town team, Diamond Stars lift the country’s Premier League crown in 2012 for the first time in their history now have a task to help Santoba who are second from bottom in the table escape relegation.
The Former Diamond stars and Real Republicans defender has managed the Sierra Leone U-17 team as a national coach, and was assistant coach for the country’s national home-base squad including being an assistant Coach to former Sierra Leone Swedish Head Coach Olaf Mattson during the national team’s 2014 World Cup and Nations Cup qualifiers.
