Sierra Leone defender, Ishmael ‘Jorjor’ Koroma was all smiles and in a delightful mood over the weekend as his Nyköping side grabbed their first win of the season thanks to goals from Mahmoud Eid and Emil Hedsén.
The Sierra Leonean youngster who saw full time action in the 2-0 home win over Piteå in the Swedish first division league posted on social media; Facebook; ‘Finally got 3 point good job today guys.’
In an exclusive interview with Songahi Sports, Koroma said the win have restored his confidence and belief in the squad. “Am just happy for the victory and we hope to build on this and keep on winning because our last five games were all draws, “he said.

Whilst Koroma was on the winning side, his compatriot, Ibrahim Kallay IFK Lulea side suffered a 1-3 defeat at home to Akropolis in the same division.
Meanwhile, in the U.S Major League Soccer (MLS) striker Kei Kamara failed to find the net on Saturday after his Columbus Crew side suffered a 2-0 away defeat to San Jose Earthquakes and the Sierra Leone international was substituted in the 83rd minutes.
In Israeli topflight, midfielder Mohamed Medo Kamara helped Maccabi Haifa secured a 4-0 win over Hapoel Be'er whilst Italian based midfielder Rodney Strasser was an unused sub in Livorno 1-1 draw with Vicenza in the Italian Serie B.
