The Deputy Sports Minister of Sierra Leone, Al Sankoh Conteh has hit back very hard at the Sierra Leone Football Association’s (SLFA) President, Isha Johansen over her allegations that the government is yet to make a request to their Ghanaian counterparts to use Accra as the Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars home ground for their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The SLFA boss recently told BBC sports that they are not giving up on Ghana hosting Leone Stars for the 2015 AFCON group stage qualifying home matches just yet the only hold up is that the Sierra Leone government is yet to make a request to our Ghanaian counterparts.
Johansen claims were dismissed by Al Sankoh saying it is ‘Bogus and misleading.’ Sankoh said: “It is unfortunate for the SLFA president to make such a statement, for her to say such things about the government are completely bogus and misleading.”
