French club Saint-Etienne have snaffled 19-year-old Senegalese goalkeeper Boubacar Fall, who was recently invited to the national team in the absence of veterans such as Edouard Mendy of Chelsea, Alfred Gomis and Clement Diop.
Fall, who was playing for Dakar-based side Guediawaye FC, signed a two-year deal with the Ligue 1 team, who terminated the contract of their number two goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier on Monday.

In 2019, Fall was named best goalkeeper of the WAFU (West African Football Union) U20 tournament won by Senegal. Last year, he led the same team to clinch the Arab Cup.
