With just over a month before they travel to Namibia, captain Janine Van Wyk is confident the team will achieve their main objective, which is to finish in the top three and qualify for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be staged in Canada.
“We know that Zambia is also preparing for the African Women’s Championships, we haven’t played them in a while but we know that they will come out strong to test their readiness before the tournament. We need to continue with the hard work so that we can be well prepared come October,” said Van Wyk.
Meanwhile, She-polopolo will also be using the match as preparation to the African Women’s Championship, a first time appearance for them.
