NEW YORK (Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014) – Major League Soccer today conducted Stage Two of the 2014 MLS Re-Entry Process. A total of eight players were selected by six different MLS clubs.
San Jose Earthquakes made two selections in the draft, picking up defender Marvell Wynne and midfielder Sanna Nyassi. Houston Dynamo also selected twice, choosing forward Chandler Hoffman and midfielder Nathan Sturgis.

Drafting clubs will be required to make a genuine offer to the player within seven days. In the event that an agreement cannot be reached between the drafting club and the out-of-contract player, the drafting club will hold the right of first refusal for that player in MLS.
Clubs were allowed to select their own players in Stage Two only after all other clubs had declined to select those players. No club selected their own player in today’s draft.
Players not selected in either stage of the Re-Entry Process are available on a first come first served basis to all clubs.
