
Kaizer Chiefs face several charges with the club, it’s chairman, head coach Stuart Baxter and goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune all called before the Disciplinary Committee.
The FIVE cases to be dealt with:
1. Stuart Baxter and Kaizer Chiefs
Baxter and Kaizer Chiefs have been charged with contravening Rules 51 and 53 of the NSL after Mr Baxter attended a post-match press conference on 21 March 2015 after a cup fixture between Kaizer Chiefs and Black Leopards despite Mr. Baxter being ordered from the field of play during the game by the referee. Baxter will appear on 23 April 2015.
The three parties have been charged with misconduct and unsporting behavior following their conduct during and after their league fixture against Mpumalanga Black Aces on 08 April 2015. They will appear on 20 April 2015.
3. Bobby Motaung and Kaizer Chiefs
Motaung has been charged with unsporting behavior after he allegedly insulted a match official, Mr. Bafana Mosia on 18 March 2015 during Kaizer Chief’s fixture against Moroka Swallows. He will appear on 23 April 2015.
4. Itumeleng Khune and Kaizer Chiefs
Khune has been charged with making improper statements and bringing the League and SAFA into disrepute following his comments on social media on 09 April 2015. He will appear on 23 April 2015.
5. Witbank Spurs
The club has been charged with contravening Rule 8.9.1/4 after they failed to procure the timeous services of the doctor in their NFD game against Golden Arrows on 04 April 2015. They will appear on 23 April 2015.
