Orlando City SC to Kick Off Tryouts This Weekend for Sueño MLS 2015 – Presented by Allstate

Walk-up opportunities available for nationally-televised search for best undiscovered young soccer player; Orlando City SC forwards Pedro Ribeiro, Sidney Rivera, & Mexican goalkeeping legend Martin Zuñiga scheduled to appear

ORLANDO, Fla. (April 30, 2015) – The dream begins this weekend for more than 400 aspiring young soccer players as Sueño MLS 2015 – Presented by Allstate Insurance Company, the nationally-televised player search, kicks off with tryouts from May 2-3 at the Seminole Soccer Complex in Sanford, Fla., hosted for the first time by Orlando City SC. 

While pre-registration for the Orlando City SC event is full, players are encouraged to sign up in person for the “walk-up” list starting Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 a.m. ET.

Friends and family of participating players, as well as the general public, are invited to watch the tryouts and enjoy the interactive fan zone presented by the event partners. Orlando City SC stars Pedro Ribeiro and Sidney Rivera, as well as Univision Deportes personality Aly Villegas, are scheduled to make special appearances.

 

In addition, Mexican goalkeeping legend Martin “El Pulpo” Zuñiga will host a free public goalkeeping clinic on Saturday, May 2, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. ET followed by an autograph session.

WHY:                To find the top six undiscovered young soccer players who will represent Orlando City S.C. at the Sueño MLS 2015 – Presented by Allstate Insurance Company National Final, to be held in Carson, Calif., May 26 – May 31, 2015.
