MLS is Back with all 23 teams kicking off during an action-packed Opening Weekend that will feature six games on Saturday and four on Sunday, including the debut of expansion side the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), and an influx of both South American and young talents – all with a shot at capturing the coveted MLS Cup by season’s end.
With an unprecedented nine different champions in the last 11 seasons, MLS is set to begin yet another season as one of the most competitively balanced leagues in all of sport. Over the last 10 years MLS ranks No. 1 in diversity of champions with more parity of title winners than the English Premier League, La Liga (Spain), Ligue 1 (France), the Bundesliga (Germany), and Serie A (Italy).
