Two MLS clubs have one last opportunity to advance out of 2014-15 CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals this week, as both the Montreal Impact and D.C. United host the final leg of their respective series.
The Montreal Impact played Mexican side Pachuca to a 2-2 draw in Hidalgo last week, securing two vital away goals as the scene shifts to Canada for Tuesday’s second leg. Dilly Duka propelled the Impact into the driver’s seat with a pair of goals, but Pachuca fought back with two of their own. The Impact return to Montreal with the upper hand and will play in front of a jam-packed crowd of 30,000 at the Olympic Stadium in a potentially history-making encounter (8 p.m. ET, Fox Sports 2).

D.C. United will have a difficult task as they look to overturn a 5-2 deficit against Costa Rican side Alajuelense. D.C. United will have to rely on the striking power of their attacking unit to score three unanswered goals. If Fabian Espindola’s performance in Costa Rica is an indicator – a goal and an assist – it could be a memorable night at RFK Stadium on Wednesday night (8 p.m. ET, Fox Sports 2, UDN).
