The match is schedule to take place at Mohlareng stadium this Saturday, 29 November, at the Gauteng leg of the Sasol league road show.
Kick-off is at 15h00.
Palace Super Falcons are sitting first on the log table with 76 points from 28 matches, while Sundowns are second with 71 points from 26 matches, they are scheduled to catch-up with their outstanding two matches by the end of the week.
The match will determine which team will represent Gauteng at this year’s national championships scheduled for Port Elizabeth from 08 – 14 December at the Isaac Wolfson stadium, Kwazakhele.
With just over one week before the 6th edition of Sasol league national championships kicks-off, two other provinces are yet to confirm the provincial winners as well. Limpopo and Northern Cape are scheduled to play their last league matches on the 29th and 30th November to determine the league winners.
The race for the Sasol league provincial winners is between Ma-Indies Ladies and Kanatla Ladies in Limpopo, while Royal Wizards have to battle it out with RC Mills in the Northern Cape division.
“This year was a challenging season in the Sasol league because the African Women’s Championships were taking place, and the senior women’s national team was very active preparing for the tournament. We had to postpone some matches to accommodate teams that had players in the national team. We are however excited that we have reached the pinnacle of the league and look forward to the championships in Port Elizabeth,” said Balebetse Monnakgotla, SAFA Competitions Director.
