Captain Neil McKenzie was once again the toast of the Lions batting peck, who at one time seemed struggling at 74-4 after 15 over’s chasing a total of 127 for victory. The absence of hard hitting West Indies opener Chris Gayle was heavily felt.
But McKenzie partnered well with Temba Bavuma to knock off the 53 required runs, sailing home with three balls to spare handing the Lions their fifth straight win on the trot. They are now seven points clear at the top of the overall standings.
