The Leone Stars are half way through to the group stage qualifiers of the 2015 African Cup of Nations which is slated for Morocco in January/ February of 2015.
The Leone Stars dominated the game from start to finish with Khalifa Jabbie scoring in the early going of the second half of play that was soon followed by a charity spot kick that gave the Leone Stars a 2 – 0 lead. The Penalty kick was awarded after Sheriff Suma was fouled within the 18 yard box and the penalty duly awarded which new Captain of the Leone Stars Umaru Zangalay Bangura took and nicely converted.
The team teams will face each other again in Victoria, Seychelles in two weeks in a final and deciding match as to who moves on to the a very tough group stages group that includes Cote D’Ivoire and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
