
Kallon FC-Kenema were crowned the Kenema champions of this year’s Airtel Rising Stars (ARS) season IV tournament after defeating Kahunla Rangers 3-1 on post game penalties.
The two sides played to a goalless draw in full-time before Kallon FC went on to lift the title thanks to the penalty shoot-out success.
In the female challenge, it was Kahunla Queens who were crowned champion after they defeated Jam Jam FC.
In Kono, it was newcomers, Fofana FC who clinched the male title after a 6-5 post game penalty win over Sangafullay FC. It could be recalled that Fofana FC were eliminated in the preliminary qualifiers, but only came in as best losers due to their outstanding display.

Each champion team bagged Le 1.5 million as their championship package and also booked their place to the national finals scheduled for Bo. Meanwhile all the runners-up received one million Leones and a runner-up title.
The tournament will continue in Moyamba, Kambia, Makeni and Koinadugu on July 11 whilst the search for the Western Area champion will commence in Freetown on July 10.
