
Nine teams will battle it out for promotion to the National First Division (NFD), South Africa’s second tier division.
The teams are divided into two groups - Group A with five teams while there will be four teams in Group B.
Group winners will automatically be promoted to the National First Division (NFD), South African soccer’s second tier. The overall winner will walk away with a whopping R1 million while the runners up will receive R500 000.
The play-offs kick off on Tuesday morning, 22 July 2014, at the SJ Smith Stadium, with the first game of the day scheduled for 09H00, followed by a further three matches at 11H00, 13H00 and 15H00.
Day two, on Wednesday 23 July 2014, will also take place at the SJ Smith Stadium, while
day three, four and five will see the action shifted to the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi.
The final will be staged on Sunday, 27 July 2014 and the winner will be crowned overall SAFA Second Division champions for 2014.
