Honico pledges to support Cycling and Sports Tourism

Organic Honico Chocolate Spread & Beverage manufacturers have promised to support the historic cycling event coming up in September this year in Ghana. 
In an exclusive interview with Mr. Dickson, a director of the company and Mr. Kwadwo Larbie, marketing manager, they expressed their joy to be part of the project which would see five European cyclists being joined by Ghanaian counterparts who are going to ride over many kilometers in different parts of Ghana. 
According to the organisers, the routes are from Elmina to Kakum in the Central Region, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, Aburi and Nsawam to Kyebi in the Eastern Region and Akosombo to the Volta Region. 
Mr. Gabriel Ammah of Urban Sports Champions said the project is to promote sports and tourism in Ghana. 
He thanked the officials of Honico for their interest and urged them to take advantage of the event to spread the good news about the product. 
He advised Ghanaians to patronize made in Ghana quality products.
Honico, a purely organic product is manufactured by Tropical Zone Industry Ltd (TZIL) based at Kyebi, Amanfrom in the Eastern Region. 
The ingredients are organic cocoa, turkey berry, tiger nuts, and natural honey. 
Some of the health benefits are reducing inflammation and protection from heart diseases, cancer, manages diabetes and improves libido. 
It also reduces blood sugar levels, improves heart health, boosts immune system and helps fight infections. 
According to Mr. Larbie, it promotes and improves digestion, treats aneamia and regulates menstruation and high blood pressure. 
He said it is also good for the treatment of infections, good for the eyes and brain as well as healing of ulcers, hepatitis and constipation. 
Mr. Dickson assured that Honico is ready to support sports Federations, sportsmen and women, especially the youth and kids who love sports. 
He hinted that associating with sports will ensure Ghana has a great future because the kids and youth are the future of the nation. 
Meanwhile, the Kyebi Traditional Council has promised to support the event in the Eastern Region where the cyclists are going to meet the great Nana Amoatia Ofori Panin II and other dignitaries at his refurbished palace. 
The cyclists coming to Ghana from the United Kingdom are Roy Alexis 60, Jason Belgrave 52, Wayne Hoilett 52, Paul Christian 54, and Michael Howe 48. They would be accompanied by Setor Lord Attivor 48, a popular Ghanaian cyclist. 
Meanwhile, the Ghana Cycling Federation is aware of the event and they have also pledged to support. 
Technical Director  Ghana Cycling, Mr. Shaban Mohammed said Ghanaian cyclists hope to learn a lot from the experienced riders from Britain.
