Guinea national team captain, Ibrahima Traore, has announced his retirement from International football after his team, the Syli National’s were eliminated from the 2015 AFCON quarter-final by Ghana.
Traore saw his Guinean side suffer a 0-3 defeat to the Black Stars of Ghana in the quarter-finals ending their hopes in the 2015 showpiece.
The 26-year-old Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder has called his five years career with the Syli National after making his debut on 11th August 2010 against Mali a match Guinea won by 2-0 with Traoré scoring Guinea's second goal.
