NEW YORK (Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015) – Major League Soccer today announced the list of 2015 Generation adidas players, who will enter the professional ranks through the 2015 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas on Jan. 15 in Philadelphia, Pa. In addition, MLS has invited five youth internationals to the 2015 adidas MLS Player Combine that begins on Friday, Jan. 9 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Among the group of talented underclassmen are two All-Americans, goalkeeper Alex Bono (Syracuse University) and midfielder Cristian Roldan (University of Washington). Also included in the 2015 Generation adidas signees are defender Conor Donovan (North Carolina State) and forward Cyle Larin (UConn), both who are participating in the CONCACAF U-20 Championship in Jamaica for their respective countries (USA and Canada). Rounding out the class is forward/midfielder Romario Williams (University of South Florida).

Players who join MLS as part of the Generation adidas program receive the opportunity to develop their game and hone their skills at the professional level. In addition to training and playing with one of Major League Soccer’s 20 professional clubs, Generation adidas players receive educational grants to further their college education. Generation adidas players do not count against an MLS team’s salary budget.

Five youth international players - Adrian Antonio Reta (Argentina), Braian Matias Acuna (Argentina), Carlos Alberto Riascos Guaza (Colombia), Vladimir Eric Hood (USA/Peru) and Juan Carlos Moscosa (Dominican Republic) - have been invited to the 2015 MLS Player Combine in Fort Lauderdale, where they will look to impress MLS scouts and coaches ahead of the MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas. Moscosa earned an invitation after performing well at the Caribbean Combine that was held in Bayamón, Puerto Rico from January 2-5.
