Eritrean track and field team members, who were reported to have disappeared from the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, have been found, according to a University of Oregon spokesperson.
The University of Oregon Police Department earlier said four athletes and their coach from the northeast African country absconded after participating in the World Championships held between July 15 and 24 in Eugene.

The group was last seen on July 23 and was reported missing on the final day of the event (July 24) by organizers.
There had been speculations of a probable deflection or abduction.
The Eritrean National Athletics Federation announced late Thursday that the athletes are no longer in danger and will be "resuming activities with their team."
They have been identified as Filmon Ande, 24, Yemane Haileselassie Teklehaimanot, 24, Habtom Samuel Keleta, 18, Merhawi Mebrahtu Teweldebererhan, 18, and Berhe Asgedom Nigusse, 44.
