Defending champions Algeria's GSP
Cairo, Egypt, February 9, 2015 - The African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) granted Egypt the organisation of the 2015 edition of the African Women's Club Championship from March 25 to April 6 in Cairo. The competition will qualify the African champions to the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship to be held in Switzerland from May 5 to 10, 2015.
Africa's national federations have until February 28 to register their team in the competition. National Federation to register their teams in the competition. The African Women's Club Championship is thought of as one of the most attractive competitions on the continent and 16 teams participated last year. Algeria's GSP are the current African champions after winning the last edition of the competition in Tunisia.
