The football world, especially the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and former club, AC Milan, celebrated Former midfielder, Sulley Ali Muntari, who turned 36 on August 27.
Muntari was a kingpin for the Black Stars, Ghana's senior national team, playing a key role in Ghana's maiden World Cup qualification in 2006 and that of 2010 and 2014 editions.
The mercurial midfielder who is currently at the verge of returning to the Ghana Premier League, was instrumental to the country's performances in 2010 and 2014 World Cups.
As he turned 36, former clubs, AC Milan and Udinese Calcio have all extended their best wishes to the midfielder.
CAF lauded the former Ghana international with a video post of him on international, on Twitter.

Muntari was reported as a key interest for Hearts of Oak, a premier league club in Ghana.
The club's CEO, however, states that they will only sign Muntari if he is available at an affordable spending to the club.
