Sierra Leone’s CAF Confederations Cup representative, Kamboi Eagles will face their Algerian opponent at the stage Boumezrag Chlef Stadium on Sunday February 15 in Algeria.
The two sides are expected to face each other for the first leg preliminary round of the Confederations Cup.
Meanwhile, the club’s Public Relation Officer, Ishmael Sesay revealed that the Sierra Leone FA cup champions will travel to Algeria on Tuesday with a 30-man delegation onboard Royal Air Maroc.

Despite the lack of proper preparations, Sesay said the Eagles will not fear their Algerian opponent adding that they are looking forward to the challenge and ready to compete.
“People have already written us off but we have no fear and we believe that we can compete at this level despite all constraints.
Whilst the Eagles are dealing with a less competitive form, their opponent ASO Chlef are struggling to get out of relegation in the Algeria league 1.
This will mark the first outing in CAF competition for Kamboi Eagles in the millennium since they withdrew from the 1993 CAF Cup in the first round. In 1982 they participated in the same competition but they were eliminated in the first round and in 1986 they were disqualified from the Cup Winners Cup.
