German soccer club FC Schalke 04 have confirmed a new five-year partnership with Umbro.
Starting in July 2018, the British sportswear brand will become the Bundesliga team’s official kit supplier, and will provide both Domenico Tedesco’s first team and all academy sides with playing kits and equipment until 2023. According to German outlet Sponsors.de, the deal is worth an annual €6 million (US$6.7 million), earning the seven-time German champions €30 million (US$33.5 million) over the course of the contract. The agreement marks the end of Schalke’s long-standing partnership with German sportswear giant Adidas. |
