Cart Trophy - Felix Baumgartner - Saalbach-Hinterglemm (AUT) - 7.-9.10.2016
Saalbach-Hinterglemm will be once again turned into the Monte Carlo of the Alps from October 7 to 9, 2016 when some 500 cart sport enthusiasts descend upon the Austrian village to take part in the Alpin Juwel Cart Trophy. They'll be battling it out for first place in the mini-format of the F1 on the 600-meter long race track -- right in the heart of the town. There promises to be lots of smoking rubber and thrilling racing thanks to the intensive cocktail mixture of emotion, action, fun and sex appeal.

Along with extreme athlete Felix Baumgartner, there will be skiing stars such as Austrian ski team favorite Georg Streitberger, Reinfried Herbst and Hans Enn on hand as well as the founders of the German rock band Soehne Mannheim, Claus Eisenmann and Andy Bayless. The Alpin Juwel Cart Trophy has long since become an important fixture in the world of professional motor sports. Some of the top names in the sport have already signed up to race such as: Manuel Reuter (Germany, the 1989 winner of the 24-hours of Le Mans), Martin Ragginger (Austria, the 2013 runner up in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia), Thomas Preining (Austria, the reigning F4 winner at RedBullRing and Nueburgring), Raphael Sperrer (Austria, the six-time Rallye national champion), Gerhard Tweraser (Austria, ADAC-Formel-Masters) as well as Christian Abt, Manfred Pfeiffenbergerand Manfred Stohl who have secured their spots in the racing.
As if to demonstrate that motorsport is no longer only a sport for men, there have also been numerous riders registering for the Wildcats, to name but a few Patrizia Kaiser, Romana Sedlmeier, Kim Gloss, Denise Cotte, Amina Dagi, Stephanie Steinmayr, Nicole Rigger.
