Tanzania will play a friendly against neighbours Kenya on Sunday, 29 May 2016 in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
The match is to prepare both teams ahead of the penultimate matches of the AFCON 2017 qualifiers in June. Tanzania is due to face Egypt whilst Kenya squares Congo.

Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) president, Jamal Malinzi has confirmed the match, which will serve a good test for the Taifa Stars ahead of their clash with Egypt.
Six points shy of Group G leaders Egypt, the Taifa Stars need nothing short of victory to boost their chances of qualifying for next year’s showpiece event for the first time since 1980.
“We only have few days ahead of the Egypt clash; it was difficult to play any friendly but our neighbours Kenya agreed to play us and the game will take place in Nairobi,” said Malinzi.
Meanwhile, Tanzania will resume camping on Saturday, 21 May 2016, eight days before the Kenya encounter.
