Sierra Leone Finland based striker, Abdul ‘Buduski’ Sesay scored his first professional hat-trick on Saturday to help OPS secure a 5-1 win over FC YPA in the Finish Kakkonen league.

The 24-year-old opened his account in the 32nd minute before converting his second 21 minutes later. Sesay completed his hat-trick in the 91st minute to seal the victory for OPS who now moved to third position in the league standings.

In England, youngster Sullay Kaikai made his long awaited Premier League debut for Crystal Palace in Sunday’s 4-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton. The 20-year-old came in as a second half substitute for Jordan James Mutch in the 46th minute.

Despite not scoring, Kaikai took plenty of personal satisfaction from his debut as he took the corner from which Jason Puncheon netted the Eagles' only goal and tested Fraser Forster with a volley with a header from the top corner.

After the match, the youngster tweeted: “A dream come true, thank you to CPFC for handing me my premier league debut! Proud moment for me, my family and loved once.”

Another Sierra Leonean who made his debut over the weekend was New England Revolution newly-acquired striker Kei Kamara.
The 31-year-old forward who joined the Revolution in a transfer deadline a day after falling out with Columbus Crew didn't score in his New England Revolution debut against the Chicago Fire but had a profound impact on the match.

Kamara fired a game-high with six shots and was an undeniable menace in the final third for the Revolution and coach Jay Heaps was actually most impressed with the forward's attention which helped New England secure a 2-0 win.

Still in United States, midfielder Michael Lahoud continues to enjoy full time action for New York Cosmos in the North America Soccer League (NASL) but his Cosmos side suffered a 2-1 away defeat to Edmonton.

In Turkish League one, Alfred Sankoh came from the bench in the 58th minute to help Balikesirspor maintain their 2-1 win over 1461 Trabzon. They will qualify Balikesirspor for the Turkish premier league play-off which will commence on Thursday.

In Sweden, Alhassan Crespo Kamara came from the substitute bench in his second successive match for Orebro as they defeated IF Elfsborg 1-0. Since he recovered from his injury the Sierra Leone international has been relegated to the Orebro bench in the Allvenskan league.

In the Superrettan, Athletic FC United were forced to a 1-1 draw by Varbergs BoIS FC and their Sierra Leone international, Mohamed Buya Turay played full time but could not help them get all three points at home.

Sierra Leone’s central defender, Ishmeal Koroma continued to seal his authority at the heart of Nyköpings BIS defence as they were held to a 1-1 by Team TG FF while Koroma’s countryman and Pitea IF midfielder, Ibrahim Kallay was shown a red following double caution in Pitea IF 2-1 win over IK Sleipner
