Sierra Leone has just a fixture remaining against the Elephants of Ivory Coast in the qualifying phase and it is a must win game if they want to book their ticket to Gabon and end their 21 years drought from the African football tournament showpiece.
"We should now focus our attention on that last and final group match, train hard and prepare well. It is not impossible we can qualify in Abidjan we just have to focus on winning the said match."
Coach Sellas Teteh also re-echoed Bangura’s sentiment adding that they are capable of doing the unthinkable against Ivory Coast because nothing is impossible in football.
“The team is improving game by game and we are going by our program, plan and preparation to achieve our goal,” the Ghanaian coach said and added: “We can cause an upset in Abidjan but it is too early to look forward to the Ivory Coast match he said during the post-match analysis of the Sudan game.
Sierra Leone will travel to Abidjan for the final Group I match on September 2 and only a win can take them to the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
