We are in a good situation. Our plan was to go past the group stage, and the current situation has allowed that. It is good for the players and the team. It was a tough game. Uganda came on us but we brought them to our game level and reduced them to play our game. I’m sure we have learnt one or two things from the game. We have achieved objective.

I dedicate my goal to my coach (George Lwandamina). He believed in me after one year absence from of the national team. I dedicate the three points to the Football Association of Zambia because they also believed in me and still know that I can contribute to my country.
Looking at the pressure back home, we needed to go past this hurdle and this is good for the country.

One detail of the match decided the game. Human nature cost us an error for that set piece. Loss of concentration in that crucial moment cost us. On the otherhand, whatever we had and created, we failed to bury. We need to regroup and look at our qualification, which is now in the domain of a theory. We shall do our best against Zimbabwe; look out for a win and have a chance of qualify for the quarter finals.

They (Zambia) were just lucky, that is all I can say. They utilised the chance. We got chances but could not utilize. I cannot say we played bad, but the only thing we failed to do was to convert our chances.
