A letter dated January 13th signed by the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) General Secretary, Chris Kamara is asking members to honour their annual subscription fee of Le 500,000 for 2016 to the association EcoBank account.
The letter stated that: “We kindly inform you that your annual membership subscription fee for 2016 is now due and you have yet to honour such payment.”
Several stakeholders when contacted by African Sports Media Network reacted in the negative saying they will never heed such call from the Johansen administration.
Sports Director who also doubles as acting manager for Central Parade FC, Noel Horton said: “We Central Parade will never obey such rubbish. In the first place let them inform you how they spent the $ 2million (US) from FIFA.”
Secretary General of Western Area Football Association, Kasho Holland Cole laughed at the SLFA call adding that the move is an open confrontation by the SLFA, while Secretary General of FC Kallon, Blamoh Robert said they are monitoring the situation and will make an official statement later.
