Former South Africa all-rounder Lance Klusener is not taking his dismissal as Dolphins coach lying down, and is taking the franchise to the Council for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).
The CCMA deals with unfair labour conditions and sackings, amongst other things, and is often the first recourse in South Africa when disputing being fired from a job.
Klusener was let go as coach in February, even though there were still matches to be played, and he confirmed to Cricinfo on Tuesday that he had filed a complaint with the CCMA.

He said, while admitting he’d like to remain involved with the Dolphins: “The process is still ongoing, so I cannot say too much.
“I invested a lot of time and effort there. So I would be upset if things didn’t work out – not just for me, but for the franchise and cricket as a whole.”
Dolphins CEO Pete de Wet did not want to comment on the matter, saying: “I am unable to comment on the process or the likely outcomes.”
As it stands, coach Yashin Ebrahim, who took over from Klusener in the interim, is thought to be the frontrunner to take the job full time.
“I invested a lot of time and effort there. So I would be upset if things didn’t work out – not just for me, but for the franchise and cricket as a whole.”
Dolphins CEO Pete de Wet did not want to comment on the matter, saying: “I am unable to comment on the process or the likely outcomes.”
